Install Nuvola Player 3.0.1 (Cloud Music Player) on Linux

Nuvola Player is a runtime for web-based cloud music streaming services providing more native user experience and integration with Linux desktop environments than usual web browsers can offer. Nuvola Players handles multimedia keys, shows desktop notifications, integrates with various sound menus, applets and launchers and more. Additional features include Last FM and Libre FM scrobling and lyrics fetching. The latest version of Nuvola Player 3.1 released on February 14, 2016.

1) Install Nuvola Player in Ubuntu/Mint/Debian

We can easily install Nuvola Player 3 in Debian based system using Nuvola Player official Repo.

# Install Nuvola Player Repo to Ubuntu/Mint/Debian system #
$ sudo sh -c 'echo "deb https://tiliado.eu/nuvolaplayer/repository/deb/ '$(lsb_release -cs)' stable" >> /etc/apt/sources.list.d/tiliado-nuvolaplayer.list'

# Import Nuvola Player key to Ubuntu/Mint/Debian system #
$ sudo apt-key adv --keyserver hkp://keyserver.ubuntu.com:80 --recv-keys 40554B8FA5FE6F6A

# Update Repository Index #
$ sudo apt-get update

# Install Nuvola Player 3 #
$ sudo apt-get install nuvolaplayer3

Note : For Mint system, aftet adding repo just edit /etc/apt/sources.list.d/tiliado-nuvolaplayer.list file and change from rosa to trusty because Linux Mint based on Trusty.

2) Install Nuvola Player in Fedora 22 & 23

We can easily install Nuvola Player 3 in Fedora System by adding Nuvola Player official Repo.

$ sudo nano /etc/yum.repos.d/tiliado-nuvolaplayer.repo
[tiliado-nuvolaplayer]

# Import Nuvola Player key to Fedora system #
$ sudo rpm --import http://keyserver.ubuntu.com/pks/lookup?search=0x40554B8FA5FE6F6A&op=get

# Install Nuvola Player 3 #
$ sudo dnf install nuvolaplayer3

Note : Fedora official repo having nuvolaplayer2.
