Install FrostWire 6.1.9 (Torrent Client) on Linux

FrostWire is a free, open source BitTorrent client (formerly a Gnutella client) as a fork of LimeWire. Later in version 5 they entirely dropped support for Gnutella network and over time developers added more features and added support for BitTorrent protocol. Now, FrostWire became a BitTorrent only client. Easily search and download files directly from the BitTorrent Network, YouTube, SoundCloud and other sources through FrostWire’s built-in media library to access and play your downloads.

FrostWire connects to many different torrent search engines as well as YouTube, SoundCloud, and Archive.org to find millions of public domain, creative commons and free downloadable files – and unlike other BitTorrent clients – presents the results within the app itself not in a web browser. FrostWire team announced the latest version of FrostWire 6.1.9 on December 22, 2015 with Fixes YouTube issues and more.
