Tor Browser 5.5.2 released with bug fixes

Tor Bundle is a free and open source web browser based on Firefox which was designed Especially to Protect your privacy, defend yourself against network surveillance and traffic analysis. Tor community recently released latest version of Tor Browser 5.5.2 on February 12, 2016 based on Mozilla Firefox 38.6.1.

1) Install Tor Browser on Ubuntu/Mint

Add the below PPA to install latest Tor Browser on Ubuntu/Linux Mint system.

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/tor-browser
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install tor-browser

# Remove Tor Browser #
$ sudo apt-get remove tor-browser

# Remove Tor Browser folder #
$ sudo rm -r ~/.tor-browser-en

2) Install Tor Browser on Linux

Install Tor Web Browser from source to all the Linux Distribution such as CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian, Mint, Fedora, RHEL & openSUSE systems.

# wget https://www.torproject.org/dist/torbrowser/5.5.2/tor-browser-linux64-5.5.2_en-US.tar.xz
# tar -xvJf tor-browser-linux64-5.5.2_en-US.tar.xz
# cd tor-browser_en-US
$ ./start-tor-browser.desktop

Configure Tor Network Settings.

Establishing connection with Tor Network.
